Our VR days are more than an exciting enrichment experience. They are exceptional lessons taught by a qualified teacher, leader and headteacher with 13 years of experience. Our pedagogical approach captures pupils’ imaginations, allowing them to fully immerse themselves. The VR headsets are a gamechanging innovation that look set to form part of the educational landscape of the future. Visit our socials in the banner below to see what this looks like in the classroom!

What Does the Research Say About VR?
A meta analysis from 2022 provides a clear insight into the benefits of using VR as a teaching to enhance the delivery of your curriculum:
“VR technology activates learners’ visual and motor channels, providing them with a sense of immersion, leading to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the instructional content. This stimulation enhances learners’ interest and motivation, resulting in greater engagement in learning activities.” Huang et al., 2021; Li & Xue, 2023
Reading about topics in high-quality texts is an incredibly powerful and inspiring teaching tool, but it can make understanding and conceptualising abstract content challenging. Immersive technology, such as VR, brings students closer to their subjects, enhancing their understanding, engagement, and long-term retention.
Further Benefits of Using VR
Whilst VR is in its infancy in the education sector, it’s something our pupils will need to use regularly as a learning tool in their education and careers in the very near future. The World Economic Forum’s second most important skill for 2025 is ‘Active Learning and Learning Strategies.’ This self regulation skill was not present in previous years and has risen meteorically because of the rapidly changing digital age in which our learners find themselves.
