Our Biomes VR Workshops take pupils on a breathtaking expedition across Earth’s four major land biomes, specifically designed for KS2 students. From frozen polar regions to sun-scorched deserts, these immersive sessions bring the natural world to life in a way that classroom resources simply cannot match.

Biomes VR Workshop

Explore Four Major Biomes Through Virtual Reality

During our Biomes VR Workshops, pupils begin their journey in the polar tundra, where receding ice, subzero temperatures, and sparse vegetation create one of the harshest environments on Earth. They encounter polar bears and wolves who have adapted to survive here before travelling to the African savannah, where extreme heat and semi-arid conditions contrast sharply with the frozen north. Lions, giraffes, and rhinos roam the plains as pupils begin to understand how climate drives the natural world.

From Desert Landscapes to Tropical Rainforests

The journey continues through arid desert landscapes, where plants and animals have developed extraordinary strategies to conserve water and withstand temperature extremes. Finally, pupils immerse themselves in the humid tropical rainforest, home to over 50% of global biodiversity, witnessing the most spectacular adaptations on Earth in this crowded, competitive ecosystem. Geography comes alive through immersive discovery and global travel, right from the classroom.

Curriculum-Aligned and Built for KS2

Our Biomes VR Workshops are fully aligned to the National Curriculum, covering climate zones, biomes, and vegetation belts as key aspects of physical geography. For the price of a single class trip, we can bring this experience to your whole school in one day.
