Our Purpose

To enhance and enrich the curriculum using immersive technology.

Our VR workshops blend powerful storytelling and proven oracy techniques to create unforgettable educational experiences that students don’t just observe—they feel and live.

While students embark on their virtual adventures, teachers gain valuable professional development opportunities, discovering innovative ways to incorporate immersive technology and engagement strategies into their daily practice.

Join us for VR workshops in North Yorkshire and the north east, where technology enhances rather than replaces exceptional teaching.

The Erosion of Enrichment

The number of senior leaders reporting educational visits being cut rose to 50% in 2023 (up from 21% the previous year) according to The Sutton Trust. Absence and school avoidance are increasing, and more pupils are presenting as disengaged.

The Solution: Affordable, Inspirational Learning Experiences

Even in a thriving school with a vibrant curriculum, most students will never get the chance to visit historical sites like the trenches or a Mayan pyramid. Now they can! Our virtual reality workshops transport up to six classes to the most fascinating and awe-inspiring destinations for the price of one class hiring a bus!

What Does the Research Say About VR?

Reading about topics in high-quality texts is an incredibly powerful and inspiring teaching tool, but it can make understanding and conceptualising abstract content challenging. Immersive technology, such as VR, brings students closer to their subjects, enhancing their understanding, engagement, and long-term retention:

“VR technology activates learners’ visual and motor channels, providing them with a sense of immersion, leading to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the instructional content. This stimulation enhances learners’ interest and motivation, resulting in greater engagement in learning activities.” Huang et al., 2021; Li & Xue, 2023

A meta analysis from 2022 provides a clear insight into the benefits of using VR as a teaching to enhance the delivery of your curriculum.
